PG Basketball Today: Fishburne ready for Signing Day

AFP

We already know where Jabari Craig (Southern Cal) and Tre’ Harris (Kansas State) are going. What about the other members of the 2013-2014 Fishburne Military School postgrad basketball program?

You can wait until National Signing Day on Wednesday, or you can ask FMS PG coach ed huckaby.

“We’ve got a couple of guys up in the air right now,” Huckaby said on this week’s installment of PG Basketball Today hosted by Augusta Free Press editor Chris Graham.

We know that at least four more players will be joining Craig and Harris at the signing table on Wednesday. James Rucker (6’4”, 185, Kingdale, N.C.) will be signing with Bethune-Cookman. Jordan Tyson (6’10”, 215, Columbus, Ohio) is headed to St. Bonaventure. And Mo Sallah (6’8”, 205, Falling Waters, W.Va.) and Chris Wray (6’7”, 175, Shelby, N.C.) are signing with Mount St. Mary’s.

So there’s six kids signing D1 scholarships, with at least one or two more a possibility.

“This is a big deal. You have a nationally ranked program right here in Waynesboro,” Huckaby said.
