The Bridgewater College Eagles were picked third in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) preseason baseball poll released Thursday by the conference office.
Shenandoah, nationally ranked in two preseason polls, was picked first and received nine first-place votes from the conference baseball coaches.
Randolph-Macon was picked second, followed by the Eagles, Bridgewater, also nationally-ranked in two preseason polls, received the remaining two first-place votes.
Bridgewater opens its season on Feb. 14 against North Carolina Wesleyan. The game will be played at Christopher Newport University, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
