Virginia Military Institute head coach Scott Wachenheim today announced the signings of the 2015 football recruiting class.
“The VMI Football coaching staff and I are excited to announce 13 student-athletes who signed their National Letters of Intent with us today,” said Wachenheim. “As we hit the recruiting trail, our staff identified and found young men who desired an undergraduate education of the highest quality, an opportunity to play Division I football, while being strengthened by the unique VMI system of military training. Additionally, we recruited the state of Virginia first, signing 11 players from our home state. Moreover, we improved our team speed and athletic ability by signing several multi-sport athletes and multi-positional players. Finally, we identified and filled positional team needs in our recruiting class. It is a privilege to be a part of these young men’s lives and lead them into a promising future.”
