Kline’s to celebrate 80 years of ice cream with community party in Waynesboro

klines 80th anniversary Kline’s Dairy Bar will mark its 80th anniversary with a community party on Sunday, July 30, from 2-4 p.m. at Constitution Park in Waynesboro.

The celebration is free and open to the public.

Kline’s will provide ice cream, cake and activities for kids.

A number of local organizations will take part in the event including:

  • Blue Ridge Children’s Museum
  • Virginia Natural History Museum
  • Waynesboro Public Library
  • Waynesboro Police Department
  • Waynesboro Tourism Office

The Kline family opened their first shop on North Main Street in Harrisonburg serving cones through the first-floor window of their home.

Kline’s has grown to six locations in Virginia including Harrisonburg, McGaheysville, Staunton, Waynesboro and Lynchburg. A new location is also planned in Richmond.
