Virginia Avenue will be briefly limited to one lane at 2nd Street as the Harrisonburg Department of Public Works does emergency repair work to a nearby storm pipe.
The work will take place Tuesday and Wednesday, April 7 and 8, from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day. Virginia Avenue will be reduced to one lane at the intersection with 2nd Street, and a flagging operation will be in place to manage traffic on Virginia Avenue.
Drivers should expect delays in this area, and are urged to drive cautiously while crews work.
