Effinger PreSchool Rockbridge kids with farm equipment

It’s never too early to learn about agriculture.

Children in a pre-school in Rockbridge County learned how food gets from the farm to their tables when a member of the Virginia Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services read the book “Right This Very Minute” to them for Agriculture Literacy Week.

They also visited a farm and had a very close look at a modern combine (harvester).
