The inaugural STAB KINO: New Classics Film Festival will take place at St. Anne’s-Belfield School May 6-8.
Films will be shown in the Greenway Rise Auditorium (2132 Ivy Road) and all tickets will be priced at $5.
As the culminating project of the school’s senior seminar in filmmaking and cinema studies, 10 seniors have curated a weekend of new classic film. The festival aims to showcase the distinct pleasure and value in watching great films on a big screen in the intended format. Selections focus on films of the last 20 years that have been part of the explosion of Global and New American Cinema.
