East McIntire Park design review open house

CharlottesvilleThe Charlottesville Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce an open house to review design plans for the eastern portion of McIntire Park, including the proposed botanical garden area.

City staff and the design team for the park will be on hand to review plans, answer questions, and solicit feedback and comments on the designs.  Citizens are encouraged to drop in anytime for this informal open house format review.

Jefferson School City Center – 4th Street NW

6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

The designs show the proposed locations of bicycle and pedestrian access points, major and minor trails, buildings, parking areas, picnic shelters and other facilities throughout the park.

Draft plans will be available online at www.charlottesville.org/mcintirepark onSeptember 2.
