The Charlottesville Police Department has arrested a Gordonsville man for second degree murder in the homicide of Daniel O’Brien Hall.
Reginald Eugene Lindsay Jr. was taken into custody at 8:15 a.m. this morning with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals task force, the Virginia State Police division two tactical team and the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest is the result of the investigation into the Oct. 14 shooting in the 300 block of East Market Street in Charlottesville.
At the time of the incident, Charlottesville Police said it did not believe this was a random act of violence.
Lindsay is being held at the Central Virginia Regional Jail.
