The latest on Sting: Not signing with WWE?

stingSting is replacing Ric Flair on a pair of shows in the UK next month, a sign that The Icon hasn’t signed with WWE, and that a possible signing is not imminent.

How can we be so sure? Flair isn’t appearing on the shows, for which he had been booked back in November, because his WWE contract gives the company the right to overrule any outside projects that Flair has committed to, and WWE apparently exercised that right with regard to the two shows in UK, which are being promoted by Revolution Pro Wrestling March 14-15.

The first show will now feature a Q&A with Sting. The second will feature a live card with Colt Cobana in the main event.
