UVA Dual Career Program (DCP), in collaboration with the City of Charlottesville, Albemarle County, UVA Licensing and Ventures Group, and the UVA Research Park, has developed Embark, an innovative solution to support talent recruitment and retention.

For job seekers, a key feature of Embark is the Employer Network, a searchable tool that will allow job seekers to find local employers of interest and follow them on social media. Nearly sixty employers have joined the Employer Network to date.

Employers seeking to recruit highly skilled talent to our region are invited tocomplete this survey to participate.

Network2Work

Albemarle County is a participating employer in PVCC’s Network2Work program, which uses connected neighborhood-based peers to identify individuals that have the right skills for area jobs that pay at least $12.50 per hour and do not require a college degree. To view jobs or get connected with the program, visit PVCC’s Network2Work page.
