Staunton City Manager Steve Owen has been asked by Virginia Chamber President and CEO Barry DuVal to serve on the Advisory Council for Blueprint Virginia.
The Virginia Chamber recently launched this endeavor to establish a framework for aligning existing regional plans for future growth and focused investments to establish a statewide economic development plan.
“I am looking forward to helping the Virginia Chamber set priorities to be advanced in the Commonwealth’s new economic development plan,” said Owen. He added, “It is an honor to be asked to serve. Hopefully our efforts will make Virginia more competitive, resulting in better jobs and a stronger economy.”
