Vector Industries announces contest winner

AFP

vectorFrom June through September, Vector Industries encouraged the local manufacturing community to tour its facilities on Fairfax Avenue in Waynesboro. All who came out were entered into a drawing for a brand new compound bow donated to Vector by Parker Bows in Greenville.

On Thursday, Vector announced that Mark Frazier, plant manager at NIBCO in Stuarts Draft, had won the bow.

“It’s important for people to see our capabilities, and this was a successful campaign. All those that came through our facilities left with a feeling of astonishment,” said Chrissy Johnston, director of sales and marketing at Vector.

“Vector is a valuable resource to the local manufacturing community when labor is short or when a project cannot be automated.  We can do just about anything anyone needs, from mechanical assemblies to quality control to packaging.  We’re trying to get the word out there.  We’re a valuable resource and worth looking into,“  said Kent Iberg, CEO at Vector.

Vector Industries is a non-profit organization located in Waynesboro and employs more than 100 people with disabilities.
