SMAC swimming is the longest standing year round swim team in the region. This year, the Waynesboro YMCA’s SMAC team was recognized as a SILVER medal USA Swimming Club (top 100 nationally) and ranked 25th in the country for Y swimming. We won the Virginia Combined Short Course Championship — small team division and broke 31 team records.
However, more important than our accomplishments in the water, we’re proud of our kids out of the water and build great leaders and develop critical life skills through swimming.
