love thy natureThe On Screen/In Person movie series continues Tuesday at the Wayne Theatre in Waynesboro with a screening of Love Thy Nature.

The film, part of a documentary series sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation, is being presented this week in conjunction with the Wildlife Center of Virginia.

“Love Thy Nature is one of those movies that will have you look at the world differently,” said Tracy Straight, the executive director of the Wayne Theatre.

The film, directed by Sylvie Rokab and directed by Liam Neeson, presents the premise that in order to tackle the problems facing the environment, we need to reactivate our individual and collective connection to nature.

The film screening begins at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults or $7 for students.

At 6 p.m., members from the Wildlife Center of Virginia Outreach Department will be on hands with birds of prey and a “meet and greet” for ticketholders for the film.

Rokab and reps from the Wildlife Center will lead a panel discussion after the film.
