It’s that wonderful time of year when the Staunton Augusta Art Center transforms its galleries into a merry, very full holiday shopping boutique known as Art for Gifts.
Everyone is welcome to the Grand Opening Friday, Nov. 13, 5-8pm. There is no admission charge and refreshments will be served. Over 70 juried artists and artisans are participating; many are new to this year’s event so there will be a lot to tempt you. Come select one-of-a-kind handmade items that will make your gift giving memorable and support area artists and your non-profit Staunton Augusta Art Center all at the same time.
Gallery hours are extended hours through December 31: 10am-6pm Monday-Saturday and 1-4pm Sunday. Staunton Augusta Art Center members receive a 10% discount throughout the sale. Please join or renew before Opening Night. Art for Gifts is in the R.R. Smith Center for History and Art at 20 S. New Street in historic downtown Staunton, conveniently located across the street from a public parking garage.
