Pedestrian struck on Interstate 64 in Augusta County: State Police investigating circumstances

policecar3At 1:50 p.m. Tuesday (June 2), Virginia State Police Senior Trooper S.A. Simmons responded to a crash that occurred in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 near the 90 mile marker in Augusta County. A vehicle traveling east on I-64 pulled off onto the shoulder and the driver got in an argument with the two passengers. The driver of the Corolla, a 19-year-old Staunton woman, was not injured in the crash.
