Charlottesville Police searching for Wertland Street armed robbery suspects

charlottesvilleCharlottesville Police officers are searching for two suspects connected to a reported armed robbery at the intersection of 12 ½ Street NW and Wertland Street Friday afternoon.

The victim in the 1:05 p.m. incident said he was robbed by two white males at gunpoint. The victim was not injured during the robbery.

The suspects were described as two white males wearing T-shirts with a blue design on them and baggy shorts. Both suspects had light brown hair with light facial hair. The suspects left the area in a red-colored sedan heading towards 14th Street NW.
