The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Augusta-Staunton-Waynesboro area through 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Freezing rain will mix in with snow and sleet with possible accumulations of a tenth of an inch of ice and little or no snow and sleet accumulation.
The freezing rain will change to rain early Tuesday morning as temperatures rise above freezing. High temperatures Tuesday are projected to be in the mid-40s.
