Waynesboro Senior Center weekly update

Contributors

The Center is setting aside March 17 to honor our members who will turn 90 years old or older this year. This will be a special day for the whole Center. When we had this party in 2006, we had six members who met the age criteria. We have definitely grown over the years and this time we get to honor sixteen “90 Plus” members! The day will consist of special recognition for the honorees including posters showing photos each person has brought in to share. One of our members, Alice Sensabaugh, has worked for months talking with each honoree to write a story from each of their lives which will be shared on this day. We’ll also have a special video created of historical pictures from over all those years, special music by Jim Biggs on accordion, and of course – cake and ice cream!

We are thrilled to have such a great group of our “most experienced” members to fawn over for a day!
