Small-scale farmers can learn how to be profitable

Farmers, landowners and agriculture professionals can learn more about profitability and sustainability at the 2019 Small Farm Outreach Annual Conference Oct. 24-26.

The conference, which will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, is an opportunity for farmers to learn about available resources, smart business strategies and successful production practices.

New York Times best-selling author and seventh-generation farmer Forrest Pritchard will share strategies from his latest book, Start Your Farm. The book instructs beginning or transitioning farmers on economically viable, sustainable agriculture.
