Run, Hide, Fight Active Shooter Response training for citizens

policeThe Charlottesville-UVA-Albemarle County Office of Emergency Management and the Albemarle County Police Department will hold a Run, Hide, Fight Active Shooter Response training for citizens on Wednesday, November 16th.

This training will be in Lane Auditorium at the Albemarle County Office Building (401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville) from 6pm to 8pm.

Citizens will learn how to recognize potential violence indicators, what actions to take to prevent and prepare for potential active shooter incidents and finally, how to react to an active shooter incident.

This training is free and open to the public. Space is limited, so registration is required to attend.
