Openings in local exchange-student program

Late summer brings to mind images of the county fair, beautiful gardens and cool swimming pools. It is also a time of excitement for many young people soon to be traveling to the United States for a year abroad and living with a new family. However, many students still need a home. Many placement organizations are working diligently to find good, safe homes for these high-school students.

CIEE (The Council on International Educational Exchange) is one of these organizations. CIEE still has students from Spain, Brazil, Thailand, Korea, Germany, Russia, India, Japan, and the Czech Republic to place nationwide. These students have a variety of interests such as horseback riding, playing a musical instrument, discussing politics, reading, singing, languages and playing sports.

Please consider opening your heart and home to one of these young people. It will bring a world of opportunity for you, your family, your community and the student.

For more information please contact Cindy Miller, the local coordinator for CIEE, at 540.464.3110 or [email protected].
