mark-warnerU.S. Sen. Mark R. Warner (D-VA) released the following statement tonight in response to the President’s State of the Union address.

“The President laid out an aggressive agenda tonight to expand economic opportunity and security for the middle class. We’ll learn more of the details when he submits his budget, and I agree we should be able to find common ground on issues such as infrastructure investment, comprehensive tax reform, boosting college affordability and making student debt more manageable.

“These are policies and programs which traditionally have enjoyed bipartisan support. I remain committed to working across the aisle to create that fair shot which every Virginian deserves.”
