A crash involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle has closed Route 250 (Rockfish Gap Turnpike) near the intersection of Route 151 (Critzers Shop Road) in the Afton area of Albemarle County.
The Virginia Department of Transportation estimates the closure could last several hours. Motorists should use an alternate route.
