state-capitol2The Terry McAuliffe for Governor campaign launched a new Tumblr site, “Cuccinelli’s Virginia” showing how Ken Cuccinelli’s extreme agenda is dangerous for Virginia. On the same day, the McAuliffe campaign also released a new banner ad highlighting Ken Cuccinelli’s ideological agenda and his history of focusing on extreme social issues.

“Ken Cuccinelli’s history of putting his own extreme ideologies ahead of what is best for Virginians is not only dangerous for our communities, it’s dangerous for our economy,” said McAuliffe spokesperson Josh Schwerin. “From opposing public pools, to proposing a tax plan that would starve localities from critical funding streams for education and public safety, Ken Cuccinelli has shown that he’d rather drive an extreme Tea Party agenda than provide more opportunities for Virginia’s communities and families.”

The Tumblr uses Ken Cuccinelli’s record in the State Senate and as Attorney General to portray what Virginia would look like if Ken Cuccinelli were elected governor. “Cuccinelli’s Virginia” includes no public pools, which he stated “shrink the liberty pie,” and no bipartisan transportation compromise, which Cuccinelli tried to block at every step along the process.
