Lunch-Time Comedy Theatre coming to St. Stephen’s Theatre

theater-masks2Virginia Film & Stage will present the hilarious short comedy, “I’m Herbert,” every Tuesday and Thursday in June as part of a Lunch-Time Comedy Theatre series.

All performances will be in the new St. Stephens Theatre, located in St. Stephens UCC, 358 S. Main St. in Downtown Harrisonburg.

The short play “I’m Herbert” was written by Robert Anderson and was a huge hit on Broadway as part of a full length play. “I’m Herbert” features Bev Appleton and Lelia Hedrick in the leading roles.

Starting Tuesday June 2nd, St. Stephen’s Theatre’s doors will open at 12:00 noon; the play starts at 12:15 and ends at 12:45 sharp. Audience members are invited to bring a “Brown Bag” lunch. Admission is $5. Reservations are not required.
