Augusta County Library hosts annual Gingerbread House Workshop

Chris Graham

The Augusta County Library will host its annual Gingerbread House Workshop at all five library locations on Saturday.  Nearly 100 children and their parents will come to the library to make a holiday decoration.

Gingerbread 3Children’s Services Library Tammy Coulter says, “For more than twenty years, the gingerbread house workshop has been the most popular children’s program we offer.”

The Gingerbread House Workshop will be held at 1 p.m. at the Fishersville, Churchville and Craigsville libraries and at 11a.m. at the Deerfield and Middlebrook library stations.  Because of support from The Friends of Augusta County Library there is no charge for the workshop, but advance registration is required.

The Augusta County Library system serves the public free of charge at locations in Churchville, Craigsville, Deerfield, Fishersville and Middlebrook. For additional information call 540-885-3961 or go to www.augustacountylibrary.org.
