Conglomerate locates printer subsidiary in Waynesboro

DASCOM Americas has chosen Downtown Waynesboro for its American headquarters.

“We knew that Waynesboro offered a skilled and dedicated workforce. Combine that with Virginia’s business-friendly economic climate, an attractive cost of doing business, close proximity to major distribution arteries and Waynesboro was a solid choice for us,” said Ron Acorn, president of DASCOM Americas, a part of the DASCOM group, a private, worldwide conglomerate, providing a variety of business printers formerly marketed by Tally.

The new DASCOM Americas headquarters is at 421 W. Main St. The location should benefit Waynesboro by increasing employment opportunities and attracting more people to the downtown district, WDDI president Len Poulin said.

“This win-win scenario will help to nurture DASCOM’s growth, which in turn will provide a winning scenario for the downtown district,” Poulin said.
