The Staunton Augusta Art Center will hold its 49th annual, juried Art in the Park festival at Gypsy Hill Park on May 23 and 24, 2015.
This is an artful (and musical), eagerly anticipated spring event for thousands of residents and tourists. The tree-lined setting is lovely and intimate with space for approximately 60 quality artists and artisans who show and sell their work and compete for monetary awards.
The Best in Show 2-D and 3-D winners are also awarded with an invitation for a gallery exhibition the following year in the Staunton Augusta Art Center galleries. Artists’ applications must be submitted by April 1, 2015.
The jury fee is $15. Accepted artists and artisans pay a $100 booth fee (total) for the two-day festival. An application is attached.
