bridgewaterAngela Beagle, the mother of a child killed as a result of a car accident, will speak on distracted driving at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, in Cole Hall at Bridgewater College.

Beagle’s daughter, Kate, was 19 months old when a teenager drove into a crowd at a neighborhood bus stop, killing her and injuring six others.

Since the accident in 2012, Beagle and her husband, Beryl, have founded Kate’s Krew, a nonprofit that works to prevent distracted driving through awareness, education and advocacy.

The program is free and open to the public.
