Local contractor presented Generation Y Leadership Award

generation yErnie Campbell, owner of Evermore Construction, was recently presented with the Generation Y Leadership Award during the second annual UP Conference that was hosted by the Greater Augusta Regional Chamber.

The award recognizes a young professional within Staunton, Augusta County and Waynesboro that is between the ages of 21-40 years old. Ernie was cited for his volunteer efforts with the Shenandoah Valley Builders Association, the Shenandoah Valley Partnership,  the Augusta Home Builders Association and the Greater Augusta and Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chambers of Commerce.

He is also a member of his church’s Praise Team and when the church could not afford a new steeple, his construction company  stepped up  and donated the steeple to Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Shenandoah.

UP (Unlock Your Unlimited Possibilities) was an all day event that included interactive sessions on personal & professional development. Keynote speaker, Charles Weathers, a national known speaker, author , consultant speaker and decorated veteran spoke on “Productive Conversations!”

A recognized authority on leadership, organizational effectiveness and performance improvement, he has become known for his strategic intellect and engaging intensity.
