Congressman A. Donald McEachin (VA-04) spent Monday evening distributing food to the homeless near Richmond Coliseum. McEachin has made the elimination of food deserts and food insecurity a priority among his work in Congress.
“I remain committed to addressing hunger and food insecurity throughout my district. Far too many Americans struggle to meet their most basic and immediate needs with scarce resources,” said Congressman McEachin. “Access to safe and reliable shelter and healthy, nutritious food must be a priority in the fight to end homelessness. I was grateful for the opportunity to provide some of my constituents with this necessity on yesterday evening.”
