Christian-Jewish Dialogue: Pulpit Exchange-Unitarian Univesalist & Jewish Congregations

handshake-clipartTemple House of Israel and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Waynesboro announce a joint event. On Saturday, May 18th, at Temple House Of Israel, 15 N. Market Street, Staunton, VA 24401, at  the 10 am Sabbath morning service, Rev. Ed Piper will deliver the Devar Torah (sermon),  with a brief response by Rabbi Joe Blair, and an opportunity for questions and responses from those attending. There will be a light luncheon following.

Then, on Sunday, May 19th, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Waynesboro, 565 Pine Ave  Waynesboro, VA 22980, at the 11 am service, Rabbi Joe Blair will offer his thoughts, with a brief response by Rev. Ed Piper, and an opportunity for questions and responses from those attending.

The topic addressed both days will be “Religious Identity in a Pluralistic Society”, addressed from the perspective of each of these faith traditions.
