Facing its largest halftime deficit of the season, #2 UVA outscored Wake Forest 37-29 in the second half to avoid the upset by the slimmest of margins, 61-60. Anthony Gill did it all for the Wahoos, scoring a game-high 19 points and adding six rebounds. UVA matches its best start in program history, improving to 23-1 on the season.
