Augusta Health Lifetime Fitness earns Certified Medical Fitness Facility designation

Augusta Health Lifetime Fitness has earned re-certification as a Certified Medical Fitness Facility by the Medical Fitness Association.  Lifetime Fitness is the first and only medical fitness facility world-wide that received a score of 100% on both its initial certification and its recertification.

The certification program is the only certification offered specifically to facilities in the medical fitness industry, an industry that serves over 4 million members.  The certification process includes an in-depth, on-site review of each facility’s adherence to prescribed standards and guidelines.  The process ensures that facilities provide a high level of quality and safety in programs and services, and are fully integrated into the continuum of healthcare.
