Boston College announced Tuesday that it has hired Scot Loeffler to be its new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
Loeffler had served as offensive coordinator on the staff of Frank Beamer for three years. New coach Justin Fuente did not retain Loeffler after taking the job in December.
“I am excited to be a part of Coach Addazio’s program. Boston College is not only a great academic institution with a great college community, but it also has rich football tradition,” Loeffler said in a statement.
“The administration is great; I know Brad Bates from my Michigan days. It’s exciting to be a part of such a great institution with fantastic people.”
