scott-wachenheim-vmiVMI football coach Scott Wachenheim talks with reporters after the Keydets fell to #19 Wofford on Saturday.

“The kids played hard, we just didn’t make enough plays. We can’t turn the ball over and a couple of turnovers hurt us. Wofford is a really good team and they were willing to win the long, hard way and we fought hard all game but just didn’t make enough plays to find a way to win.”

“We’re fighting and getting closer and we’ve come a long way in two years. We have a workout plan for the returning players when they get home for Thanksgiving and I encouraged them not only to do it, but encourage their teammates to get the workout done and get back ready to work so at this time next year we’re playing for a chance to go to the playoffs.”
