Chris Graham

HENSON PAGE MARKELLThe Waynesboro Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a Waynesboro man wanted for a violent attack on his girlfriend earlier this week.

The incident took place at Hopeman West Apartments, 100 Guilford Lane.  Presently, there are two felony warrants for Page Markell Henson, 26 years old, who has not been seen since the Wednesday morning assault on the 36 year old victim, a Waynesboro woman.

On April 20, an officer went to the Emergency Department at Augusta Health to interview the victim who was suffering from several contusions and broken bones.  She told the officer that Henson woke her up at 8:00 AM in a jealous rage.  Over several minutes, he punched her in the face, stomped on her back and threw her down some stairs.  The victim tried numerous times to leave but Henson prevented her from leaving.  Aboutnoon, he allowed her to leave and she immediately went to seek medical attention.

Henson is described as a black male, 6’00” & 205 lbs.  He is bald and has facial hair and numerous tattoos on his torso, neck and face. The attached informal pic is closer to Henson’s current appearance than the provided mugshot.

He is wanted for the following charges:

  • Malicious Wounding
  • Abduction

Henson is from the Staunton area and may have headed there from Waynesboro.  He is considered dangerous.

If anyone has information on Henson’s whereabouts, please call Central Shenandoah Crime Stoppers at (800) 322-2017 or the Waynesboro Police Department at (540) 942-6675.  Information given to Crime Stoppers may be given anonymously and subject to a cash reward of up to $1000.

Please monitor the Waynesboro Police Department’s Facebook page for updates to this situation.   facebook.com/wpdva.
