Waynesboro leaf collection schedule

leaf waynesboroCrews began collecting leaves for the City of Waynesboro scheduled pick up on Monday, October 30, and will conclude, weather permitting, the first week of January.

It is important that leaves be raked to the front edge of the property, but far enough off the curb so that they cannot be washed into the street. Where no curb exists, leaves should be located along the shoulder near the pavement edge. Grass is dormant this time of year and should not be damaged by these temporary piles if not raked out too far in advance of scheduled pick up.

To follow the collection schedule, go online to  www.waynesboro.va.us/830/Leaf-Collection for area progress. In order to track progress, call the Leaf Collection Hotline at (540) 932-8240.
