U.S. Military History Weekend in Waynesboro

waynesboro2editsA free U.S. Military History Weekend is being held June 6-7 at Ridgeview Park in Waynesboro. The event is open from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

Historical interpreters will be explaining the encampments, equipment, clothing and weapons of the U.S. military from the Revolutionary War to modern day. Demonstrations of cannon and small arms will take place throughout the weekend. And, military vehicles will be on display.
