A public-information session on the upcoming review of the Waynesboro zoning ordinance by the city planning and zoning departments is on the calendar for Thursday, July 31, at 7 p.m. at Kate Collins Middle School.

The city recently adopted a new land-use plan, and an update to the zoning ordinance is being contemplated as a tool for implementing the new land-use plan.

The information session will give city residents a chance to learn more about the process and ask questions about how it will work.

For more information, call the planning office at 540.942.6604 or the zoning office at 540.942.6628.
