Sen. Creigh Deeds, the Democratic nominee for governor, will deliver a major campaign address at 11 a.m. Friday to supporters and students at George Mason University in Fairfax.
The event will be available via webcast at www.deedsforvirginia.com.
During the speech, Deeds will lay out the themes of the fall campaign, highlighting what’s at stake in this election and the sharp contrast between the two candidates’ plans for Virginia’s future. Deeds will also point out the key differences in priorities between his record as a legislator and Bob McDonnell’s.
