Exhibitors ranging from financial institutions to hospitality businesses will showcase their latest products and services at the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce’s ninth annual Business Expo.
The Expo will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 3-7 p.m. at the JMU Festival Conference & Student Center. This year’s theme is “Survive and Thrive in 2010.”
“The Chamber is working to give local businesses the resources they need to compete in today’s challenging economy,” said Richard Morin, Interim President and CEO of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce.
The event will feature three free seminars addressing business management in today’s economic environment. Participants will learn about “Recession-Proof Healthcare Benefits” led by Adam Clark of Blue Ridge Insurance Services from 3-3:45 p.m. Roger Aldhizer of MLC Advertising will present “Branding in Uncertain Times” from 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The last seminar will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., with a session entitled, “Saving Taxes” by Nick Perrine of PBGH.
