A Place to Call My Own presented tonight in Lexington

alpha vision filmsA Place to Call My Own will be presented by the director, James Overton, and the assembled cast and crew, for one night only at the R/C State Theatre (12 West Nelson St. Lexington, Va. 24450) Monday Aug. 12.

Showtime is 7 p.m. Admission is free.

Witt, Barbara Hodgen, Susan Reynolds, Tom Miller, Cindy Fowler, Vanessa Schroeder, Linda Witt, Ron Engleman, Ashlee McGee, and introducing Hope Powell.

A Place to Call My Own is an intense and complex psychological thriller with frightening paranormal elements. A contemporary Southern Gothic tale of murder, insanity, and horrific skeletons in the closet.

Produced and Directed by James Overton, Assistant Director-Susan Conner, Director of Photography-Mark Miller, Production Associates-Isaac Cook, Natalie Hall, Michael Carlin, Bill McGill, Andrew Robinson, Theresa Reynolds Curry, and Zan Gillies. Original Score by Jimmy O.

Alpha Vision Films originated in 2010 as an independent film-making group in the Shenandoah Valley. A Place to Call My Own was produced between January and May of 2013 and is the seventh motion picture from Alpha Vision Films.
