Congressman A. Donald McEachin (VA-04) announced the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grants to both Petersburg for $624,601 and Colonial Heights for $94,494.
“I am so pleased to see these block grants come into the district to help develop clean safe housing and job opportunities in these two urban areas,” said Congressman Donald McEachin. “For folks to succeed, they need good jobs and safe and suitable housing. These grants help accomplish both those critical goals. Moreover, they are going to localities working hard to overcome issues and to provide decent housing and communities for residents.”
