Jennifer WextonCongresswoman Jennifer Wexton announced her campaign raised  $424,225 in the first quarterly fundraising period of her 2020 re-election campaign. Wexton’s Q1 fundraising surpassed every member of Virginia’s congressional delegation. Wexton received over 2,786 individual contributions in Q1. 91.7% of Wexton’s contributions were under $200.

“I ran for Congress to bring change to Washington and now change is here,” said Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton. “I’m proud to have the support of so many friends and neighbors who are in this fight with me. I will continue to advocate or bold gun safety legislation, real solutions to lower the cost of healthcare, and legislation that puts consumers first. We’ve accomplished a lot in just a few short months, and I’m excited to continue working for the people of Virginia’s 10th Congressional district.”

Wexton’s early fundraising numbers, disciplined spending, and proven record of success in the 2018 cycle demonstrate that her campaign is prepared to keep VA-10 blue in the 2020 election.

Wexton’s first quarter fundraising haul builds on the momentum of her more than 12-point win in November, the largest margin of victory for any Red-to-Blue seat in 2018.
