Richard Adams Variety Show closes with a bang

The Richard Adams Variety Show is closing out what will be known as “The Gateway Years” with a bang.  The performance will be on Friday, June 6 at 7:30 pm at WTA’s Gateway, 329 West Main in downtown Waynesboro.

Richard is bringing back all his favorites. Singer/pianist Kathy Lafon, Orville Bame on accordion, The Orville and Eric piano/trombone duo, Katelyn Sizemore, Buddy Thomas and Bob Lunger as Elvis. Elvis will sing and return to the kitchen for a new segment of “Cooking with the King”.  Fred’s Puppets will also return with the adventures of Richard and Bill and there will be an animal singing contest for big prizes.

Once again Richard and his co-host Bill Martin will encourage the audience to take part in Richard’s segments that highlight the audience’s special talents.

The Richard Adams Variety Show is sponsored by the Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge.

Advance tickets for Richard Adams Variety Show are $10 and are available online at www.wtagateway.com or by calling the box office (540-943-9999).  Remaining tickets will be available at the door on the evening of the performance for $12. Doors will open at 7:00 pm.  The June 6 performance will start at 7:30 pm at WTA’s Gateway at 329 W. Main St. downtown Waynesboro, VA.
