Latest Sting, WWE News: Not that big a deal

Chris Graham

stingFrom the moment Sting left TNA in January, it has been rumored that his signing with WWE was imminent, if it wasn’t being reported that it had already happened.

Now five months later, the latest news on Sting is that it’s all been a lot to do about nothing. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE has offered Sting a standard Legends contract that translates to a $10,000 deal between the two parties.

That’s it.

No word, obviously, on what else could be in the works, in terms of possible participation from Sting on live TV or pay-per-views, but that doesn’t sound likely with the focus being on a mere Legends deal.
