Deeds TV ad touts Post endorsement

Chris Graham

Today the Deeds campaign released a new ad highlighting the Washington Post’s strong endorsement of Creigh Deeds for governor.

The ad, “Longtime Champion,” highlights the Post’s selection of Deeds as “the better choice for governor,” calling Deeds “a longtime champion” of “enlightened, bipartisan” accomplishments.

In the endorsement, the Post cites Deeds’ transportation plan, calling him the only candidate who “offers hope for a solution” and says his detailed plans for jobs and education are forward looking ideas that “hold the promise of a prosperous future.”

The endorsement comes on the heels of momentum-building announcements of visits from President Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton, and the launch of an “Educators for Deeds” surrogate tour.

“Longtime Champion” will air in Northern Virginia.
